Wairere is a Maori word that translates to water fall or flowing water. Wairere is the name of Natalie’s late great grandmother. Bringing the symbolism of those two aspect together the name Wairere is representative of the feeling of flow within our bodies and our connection to our ancestors and to Papatuanuku (mother earth). This flow influences our relationships with our friends, whanau and communities. When we have an open connection with our body and show ourselves aroha (love) and respect this acts as a ripple effect, reaching out to all.
